Shanghai Major tickets to go on sale this week

Perfect World has announced that ticket sales for the first-ever Counter-Strike 2 Major in Asia will begin later this week. Tickets will be sold for the playoffs and are also open to international fans.

Tickets are sold in two bundles: the weekday and weekend. The weekday bundle includes the quarter-final games from December 12 to December 13, 2024, while the weekend bundle covers the semi-finals and grand final between December 14 and December 15, 2024.

HLTV has reported that Perfect World will include live audiences for the Opening and Elimination stages of the Major, similar to the 2022 IEM Rio Major held just a few short years ago. However, due to a smaller venue, there will be limited availability, and it will only be open to Chinese residents.

Ticketing details reveal that a stage will be set in the middle of the arena with surround seating, similar to the 2018 Boston ELEAGUE Major, which Cloud9 won.

The Weekday Bundle starts at $89, while the Weekend Bundle starts at $119.
