Elimination through 1st are still up for grabs | ECL S48 Roundup of the Final Days
Another exciting season is coming to a close tonight, but so far, the automatic relegation spot and first place in this regular season are still undecided. Legacy has made an incredible late push for the top spot, with M80 hoping that their few slip-ups have not made it impossible for them to repeat.
One of the bigger shocks is that Mythic is in dangerous contention to be automatically eliminated. Their match against Nouns tonight could all by seal the deal for their downfall. They will hope that LAG take the two wins against Take Flyte if they want to keep their ECL chances alive, but even then, Mythic could still be sent to relegation.
Let's examine some of the more pivotal matches and see how it all shakes out before tonight.
Mythic 0-2 Take Flyte
It might not be a battle of the titans, but this 0-2 loss against Take Flyte on October 3rd has all but put Mythic in their current position. The stream team have since lost both matches to Limitless, so things have become even more precarious for everyone involved.
Mythic was dominated in the first match on Anubis as they lost 3-13 and then went into overtime on Nuke after coming back from a 4-8 deficit. While the match was getting close, they ultimately couldn't push it over the line.

M80 1-1 Legacy 
It's clear that the matches finished in record time as not only was M80 completely swept in their match on Ancient, they nearly did the same thing to Legacy on Dust2.
This match was crucial for both teams as they vied for a spot at the league's top. There really isn't too much to say about each map as the results certainly speak for themselves. Legacy and M80 appear to be truly neck and neck right now for the top spot in ECL.

Nouns 2-0 NRG
NRG finished their season out with a series loss to Nouns as the organization has solidified a Top 5 finish for themselves. It's a strong showing for the lineup who have struggled so far in the domestic qualifiers for international LANs.
As for Nouns, they're now looking to leapfrog NRG and potentially put themselves on equal footing with Legacy and M80 at the top of the table should they win both of their matches tonight. Like we said in the beginning, anything is possible tonight.
