Shimmer returns with new roster

Nearly a month after leaving TSM's Impact roster, Lucy "empathy" Verkaik and Phoebe "phoebe" Winter are back with new teammates under the old Shimmer banner and as free agents.

Wrenna "Stx" Trampel and Raven "raven" Sol, two Imp Pact players, and Cecelia "Celia" Caton, who has been subbing in for the same team, will join empathy and phoebe in the new Shimmer iteration, with Jason "gir" Fox taking over the coaching role.

Stx is, by far, the highest-rated player in the Imp Pact squad and one of the highest-rated players in ESL Impact Season 6 NA. The rifler has been performing great, even during losses, which is a rare occurrence for the Imp Pact side. raven, Imp Pact's AWPer, will be following her teammate to Shimmer and, while raven's stats drop a bit against better opposition, she can still hold her own in such circumstances. gir has been coaching Imp Pact since the third week of Season 6, and will also transition to Shimmer.

Celia has been helping some teams as a sub, standing-in for Limitless Angels, Lotus, and Imp Pact. Just last month, Celia and Arf Squad, a mix team comprised of empathy, phoebe, Erin "erin" Luna, and Mira "mira" Luna, were the first ones to defeat FlyQuest RED in an ESL Impact Cash Cup grand final. Stats-wise, Celia has been amazing more often than not, improving every team she helps.

It remains to be seen if the now-former Imp Pact core will keep its Season 7 invite after clinching it with a 2-0 win over TSM Impact or if Lilith "gadfly" Mize, Sylvie "Serendipity" Splaver, and Katie "gone" Karonis will retain it.

After a short stint with TSM, empathy and phoebe will look to return to ESL Impact LAN Finals with this new squad, and finally beat FlyQuest RED during the next seasons. The new Shimmer roster is:
