Winless Aware embarass TSM Impact | ESL Impact S6 Week 5 Roundup
Aware has finally found their first win in ESL Impact, and it was a historic win for various reasons. First, after beginning the season with zero map wins in four series, they took down TSM Impact, a squad regarded as a favorite to finish in the Top 2. Second, for the first time ever, all teams participating in ESL Impact North America have at least one win.
In other news, FLUFFY MAFIA continues their streak, just like Nouns fe, while FlyQuest RED keeps on dominating.
Blue Otter Karma 0-2 FLUFFY MAFIA 
It's been a rough season for Blue Otter Karma, and considering the rest of the schedule, the squad may be unable to secure a Season 6 invite. On the other hand, FLUFFY MAFIA are very close to locking in a S6 appearance after the 2-0 win this past week. Two 13-6 map wins on Ancient and Anubis sealed the deal, as the European squad won its fourth in a row.

If things have been going wrong for Karma, Nouns fe are looking at an even worse season so far, adding another loss to the record, the fourth in a row. Imp Pact, the rookie team, are keeping their hopes of earning a Top 4 finish alive and an upset against TSM Impact this week would set them up perfectly for the last week of the season. A 13-9 Mirage and a 13-3 Ancient sealed the deal against Nouns fe.

With each week that goes by it gets harder to talk about FlyQuest RED. This is not because the team has some close maps here and there but because it seems like a formality having RED on the league and seeing them qualify for the LAN Final. An upset could happen, yes, but given the schedule, it is very unlikely. FlyQuest RED controlled the series from beginning to end with a 13-6 Mirage win and a 13-4 Dust2 victory.

TSM Impact 1-2 Aware
Well, here it is, the moment Rain "eepy rain" Van Cleave predicted would happen, Dust2.us having to write something good about Aware. Unexpectedly, the 0-4 Aware squad were able to defeat TSM Impact 2-1 after a very solid 13-8 Ancient win, which featured an 11-1 T-side, and a tight 13-11 Anubis decider victory that followed the 13-7 Mirage defeat.
There could be an argument about how TSM Impact is going through tough times, losing two crucial pieces and experiencing some health issues, but we need to highlight the resilience and willpower of the Aware players who joined the server after four winless weeks with the same hunger as a team fighting for a Top 4 finish. Here's hoping the team can build upon this win and keep making Dust2.us write good things about Aware.
