ARIANARCHIST to stay with Lotus despite announcing departure

On September 19th, Ariane "ARIANARCHIST" Lafrenière announced her departure from Lotus, citing a breakdown in communication and respect between herself and the lineup, however she has now told Dust2.us that she will actually be staying with the team until the end of ESL Impact Season 6.

ARIANARCHIST explained to Dust2.us that she decided to stay as leaving Lotus at this time would leave the squad without a complete lineup to finish the season. ARIANARCHIST revealed that Marisa "Grimoire" Agbovi has been out of the lineup since August while one of the team's subs, Kate "Kate" Toth, is unable to play most days, leaving the squad on a razor's edge despite using experienced Russian player Olya "Knopk@" Horoshilova as a starter for their remaining matches.

Lotus have had a difficult season, with the team currently sitting at a 1-3 record while their sole win came against the 0-4 Aware Impact last week. With remaining matches against Nouns.fe and FlyQuest RED, it will be an uphill battle for the team to retain a spot in for league for Season 7, with Lotus likely heading back to the drawing board in 2025.
