Karma signed by C9-affiliated LoL organization

A new organization has entered the North American women's scene with the signing of Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido's Karma roster. Blue Otter, a North American Challengers League organization, is affiliated with Cloud9, as it will use the Los Angeles-based organization's coaching staff as it competes in the second tier of NA's League of Legends competition.

The signing of Karma marks Blue Otter's first foray into the Counter-Strike scene. The organization has only been around for a short while, with a social media presence dating back to the summer of 2023.

"So blessed for this opportunity with Blue Otter," said EMUHLEET on X. "Its been a difficult 2 years with the lack of support/working multiple jobs but now we can focus & get to work! We will be back at the top with due time!"

Karma, now known as Blue Otter Karma, are set to compete in the seventh season of ESL Impact against squads like Nouns fe, FlyQuest Red, TSM Shimmer, and more. The team has yet to qualify for a season finals, but are looking to do so with new arrival Anna "buhnny" Cheung who replaced Carolynn "artStar" Noquez just a few days ago.
