buhnny returns to action with Karma

Today Karma have announced the addition of Anna "buhnny" Cheung to their ranks, with the 25-year-old rifler replacing Carolyn "artStar" Noquez on the orgless roster. The addition of buhnny sees her return to activity after last playing for Totsugeki in ESL Impact Season 4.

Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido told Dust2.us that the team looked to add buhnny after artStar stepped down from the starting lineup due to starting a new full-time job with a busy schedule. While the latter player says she will still be able to stand-in for the team when needed, her new job precludes her from spending the necessary time on the game.

Despite being a relative newcomer to the scene compared to EMUHLEET and Amanda "rain" Smith, buhnny has plenty of Impact experience, having played three seasons of the Impact league with Saints and Totsugeki. She also attended ESL Impact Katowice with the former team in early 2023.

This experience was likely a key factor in her addition as Karma are set to join a packed field in ESL Impact Season 5 who look to claim NA's sole spot at the ESL Impact Season 5 Finals.
