spud steps down from NOVUM

Yesterday, Eric "spud" Wickenhauser announced his departure from NOVUM, stepping down from the Brazilian-American lineup after a month among its ranks. spud's departure from NOVUM comes after a poor start to ESEA Advanced Season 50, with the team's current 2-7 record setting the team on a course to be demoted to ESEA Main, especially as ESEA look to decrease the number of teams in the division.

Outside of ESEA Advanced, NOVUM had an underwhelming showing in CCT NA Series #2, with the team claiming a single win over Victorum while suffering losses to FLUFFY AIMERS, E-Xolos LAZER, and DETONATE. On X, spud stated that his reason for leaving NOVUM was due to the team's poor performance, stating that he plans on looking for a new home moving forward.
