Nouns and Wildcard claim ESL Challenger Altanta CQ Invites

Last night ESL announced the invites to NA Closed Qualifier for ESL Challenger Atlanta, with top teams Nouns and Wildcard claiming spots. The two teams will be joined by two from the open qualifier, with the four squads battling to claim a single spot in NA's final ESL LAN of 2024.

Nouns and Wildcard both electing to attempt to qualify for ESL Challenger Atlanta is interesting as it effectively rules out two of NA's top teams from attempting to qualify for IEM Rio as ESL have made participation in the events mutually exclusive due to Rio starting a day after the Atlanta grand finals.

This does, however, present a great opportunity for whatever team qualifies as they will be able to compete in front of an NA crowd while potentially making a deeper run than they would at IEM Rio on account of the lower level of competition.
