USA cruises to IESF regional playoffs after Honduras victory
Not much to say about the match against Honduras as the United States absolutely demolished them in last night's best-of-three group play matchup.
The American representatives made quick work of the Honduran squad after a simple 13-0 on Nuke, with Collin "CoJoMo" Moren leading the way with 4.33 KDR. The real star of the show was John "mds" Marin whose 14 kills and 132 ADR was head and shoulders above everyone else on the server.
When they played on Ancient, things got a bit better for Honduras on the scoreboard, but at the end of the day it wasn't all that different as they were easily swept aside in a 13-2 defeat. Gabriel "Gabe" Shah was the difference maker on this map as he collected 22 kills and a 152 ADR to silence the opposition.
The USA now tops their group with a 2-0 record and a +34 round differential. They play Panama later tonight at 06:00PM to decide who will earn the higher seed for the playoffs, but they are guaranteed a spot with their results up to this point.
