Take Flyte enter European scene with German lineup

The North American organization is putting down roots in German CS.

Take Flyte announced yesterday that they were expanding their reach in the Counter Strike scene and have picked up an EU ESEA Open roster that is made up of a mix of a few Germans, an Austrian, and a Luxembourger with two Swiss stand-ins.

Here in North America the previous iteration of Take Flyte went 11-17 in ESL Challenger League Season 47, good enough to maintain their spot for Season 48, but not good enough to make the playoffs. That roster went their separate ways with the organization and linked up with Perseverance for Season 48, while the Take Flyte organization picked up the One More roster that went 6-22 in Season 47 and had to fight their way back into Season 48 through Relegation.

Take Flyte's signing of a European squad to complement their NA one sees the organization continue to diversify their esports portfolio, especially in the CS2 scene. The organization intimated that one day they may like to create an NA/EU mix, however these young players and the organization have a long way to go before considering international opportunities. The new roster are currently 3-0 and sit in a tie for 23rd place in EU ESEA Open, with the squad hopefully continuing their winning form throughout the season.

Take Flyte's EU roster consists of:

  • Jan "BrowNy" Rinder

  • Benjamin "Yumo" Hermesdorf

  • Marvin "Mavex" Heylmann

  • Stefan "Miitschgo" Cvetkovic

  • Jan "Scad0w" Letschert

  • Kevin "re1ease" Wieczorek (Manager)

Take Flyte EU will boot up to take on Connector One in their fourth league match on Wednesday.
