What to expect from M80 v. Vitality
The Counter-Strike 2 Esports World Cup begins tomorrow, and M80 is tasked with taking down the current #2 in the HLTV rankings, Vitality. The North American organization recently lost Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa and brought in a new, young, and talented player, Mason "Lake" Sanderson. The NA squad will try to upset Vitality and start the event with a win.
New look M80
M80 would have entered this game as the underdog anyway, but losing malbsMd automatically sets the team back a few steps, even though Lake has shown good signs of keeping up the squad's firepower. M80 have only had a few days to welcome the new rifler, which can translate into some mishaps inside the server.

Top form Vitality
Vitality went to the player break with an inconsistent showing during the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024. The team still managed to finish in 3rd/4th after having finished IEM Dallas in second place behind G2 and ESL Pro League S19 in that same place. It's safe to say that the squad would have enjoyed winning one of these events, but these results are still enough to scare M80 and NA fans.
