Drewtheshrew forms new roster with former X13 teammates

A new roster has been formed by Drew "Drewtheshrew" Lamb, seeing the semi-retired player reunite with his former X13/BHOP teammates to compete in ESEA Advanced Season 50. The quintet, which will compete under the novelty tag ex-13, previously played together from February 2023 to May 2023 in ESEA Advanced Season 44 and ESL Challenger League Season 45 before making a number of roster changes ahead of Season 46 under kariESPORTS.

Drewtheshrew told Dust2.us that the team will compete in ESEA Advanced Season 50 as a pug team and are primarily playing this season for fun, although he hopes the team's chemistry will allow them to have a competitive season. Drewtheshrew recently welcomed his son into the world in February and also recently became engaged so time is at a premium for the former player.

As for the other players, they all have recent competitive experience. James "Gonzo" Madden currently works as a developer for Refrag and most recently played for The Nomads last season. As for Aidan "Feral" Wood, he joins the team after spending last season with CarbonX, while Andrew "Andrew" Burrell was with Perseverance.

Finally, Mohamed "Penguin" Algadir has been out of action the longest, having last played for kariESPORTS before the team dissolved in October 2023.
