Spoice leaves PDHM for HeadShotKings
As if things weren't rough enough for PDHM following their 0-3 start in ESEA Premier Season 37, they've now been dealt another blow outside of the server with the departure of Josh "Spoice" Betters. Spoice has left the last-place Group A side for the 4-2 ESEA Advanced roster HeadShotKings.
Spoice will be replacing Dalton "doltn" Ehlers on the active HeadShotKings roster. According to the team's ESEA page he will fill a support role on the team, while Max "Makzwell" Sparrey will be taking up the IGL reins that doltn has left behind.
Spoice had this to say about the change:
I’m leaving PDHM for HSK because I wanted to be on a team that practiced and played all the events together. I have respect for all the guys at PDHM and I want to thank Brian especially for the past season.
PDHM just added Jet "jet-" Gao to replace Roheen "1goon" S., undoubtedly an upgrade to the roster in terms of experience in ESEA's top flight. However, Spoice's departure in particular presents PDHM with an entirely new issue, as now only Brian "Brian2K" Ladron De Guevara remains from last season's roster that was promoted through ESEA Premier Season 36 Relegation. PDHM still have two more matches before they reach the requisite five needed to keep their roster spot alive.
Both Alexander "knightmare" Sozzi and Malick "dangle" Abid remain on PDHM's ESEA roster page and the team will require their services to keep the roster alive regardless of whether they secure the services of a new fifth to finish the season. The duo departed the roster immediately after qualifying for ESEA Premier Season 37, while the other remaining member of the Season 36 core, Brandon "Sharkie" Ly, joined GGPR early last month.
PDHM are left with:
- Brian "Brian2K" Ladron De Guevara
- Paolo "pao" Lope
- Michael "Turismo" Haas
- Jet "jet-" Gao
PDHM are scheduled to face oNe tomorrow at 9PM EDT. They have not used their wildcard on the match at this time.
