Shimmer conclude coach search

Shimmer concluded their search for a new coach, with Sebastian "Florence" Ogarev joining the team last night. Florence's addition to Shimmer comes after the team decided to move on from trialing Alex "yeldn1L" Lindley, who has been working with the team over the course of February and March.

The search for a new coach came after Wyatt "snav" Phillippi, who was helping Shimmer for some time, was signed by Elevate, likely making him unable to dedicate time to both rosters.

Shimmer's general manager and former interim coach, Scott "ParkS" Park, told Dust2.us that they decided to move on from yeldn1L due to the player not being what they were looking for in a coach. Florence's addition to Shimmer sees the Russian AWPer take on his first coaching role after most recently playing for Akimbo in ESEA Advanced Season 47.
