PGL claims weekend sell-out for first CS2 Major
The tournament organizer has shared ticket details this afternoon.
It's supposed to be a packed weekend here in Copenhagen. PGL has informed HLTV that the organizer has completely sold out of tickets for the first Counter-Strike 2 Major at the Royal Arena on Saturday and Sunday.
However, while the weekend was sold out, ticket sales were harder to get out the door for Thursday and Friday, with PGL revealing that those days only sold 50% and 75%, respectively.
The current stadium configuration for the event is close to 15,000, meaning that PGL will see approximately 7,500 on Thursday, 11,250 on Friday, and 15,000 on both Saturday and Sunday.
At the PGL Antwerp Major 2022, the organizer reported that over 40,000 people total attended the event while there was a sold-out crowd of 20,000 at the final day.
