M80 analyst steps in for Europe-stuck AWPer
It literally has not been easy for M80 so far in 2024. First, Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen needed to step away from competition in order to focus on his mental health, then coach Rory "dephh" Jackson filled in for incredibly vital tournaments, the team came one round away from reaching the PGL Copenhagen Major, and now their German AWPer Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich is stuck in Europe awaiting visa approval while his squad competes in ESL Challenger league matches.
While slaxz- could play with the squad, the 150 ping is becoming too much of a detriment to the team which has required new analyst Bobby "stamina" Eitrem to step in for the squad as for the time being.
"FYI for anyone wondering, slaxz- was playing on 150 ping from Germany", the former Nouns IGL said in a post on X. "I'm subbing for the next couple games until slaxz- + new 5th (who could it be?) come to NA"
It didn't seem to matter too much that stamina stepped in for slaxz- as the squad suffered a tough 0-2 loss to Nouns in last nights ECL matchup. Nouns secured a 13-10 win on Mirage and a 13-4 drubbing on Ancient to secure their first two wins in league play overall, while M80 is now 1-3 so far on the season.
M80 will hope that slaxz- can find his way back to the Americas and that their new IGL comes shortly so the organization can find themselves at full strength once more.
