Zellsis, dazzLe make swap to VALORANT
Former Swole Patrol members Will "dazzLe" Loafman and Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro have announced that they have made the switch to VALORANT, linking up with a trio of players to form "Orgles5" alongside coach Ian "Immi" Harding.
Both players have been pondering moves to the new Riot Games shooter for weeks, with Zellsis previously attempting a transition to the game, but recently they had been holding off as they made one last effort to post results and find an organization under the Swole Patrol banner in Counter-Strike.
Despite finding initial success since coming together in mid-July, the team ultimately met its end after a handful of player changes led to them being unable to compete in IEM New York with their full lineup due to a roster lock. The future of the remaining members of the former Swole Patrol roster — Gage "Infinite" Green, Austin "Cooper-" Abadir, and Maxim "wippie" Shepelev — currently remains up in the air.
The most notable period of Zellsis' career came during his tenure with Cloud9, when he was enlisted on a trial basis to help the team in their IEM Katowice 2019 Major appearance. After lackluster results led the organization to move in a different direction with their roster, Zellsis spent time on Lazarus and a number of different iterations of the Swole Patrol roster alongside Cooper- and Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir.
dazzLe rose to prominence as a part of Rise Nation in 2017, later going on to join eUnited with whom he played with in a number of DreamHack Open events as well as a handful of Americas Minor qualification efforts. More recently, dazzLe played for Singularity and Bad News Bears, before closing out his Counter-Strike career on Ze Pug Godz and Swole Patrol alongside Zellsis and company.
The duo have helped to form Orgles5 in VALORANT, a roster that consists of:
- Timothy "sYnceD" Putrow
- Charles "Hoppin" Clapper
- Alex "Sofa" Kolich
- Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro
- Will "dazzLe" Loafman
- Ian "Immi" Harding (Coach)
