What to expect from Liquid v. FaZe
Liquid and FaZe will meet to decide the winner of Group B at the BLAST Premier Spring Group Final. North America will be trying to exact some revenge on FaZe who had blocked Complexity from success at the BLAST Premier Fall Final and IEM Sydney. Now, it's Liquid's turn and with an interesting twist as FaZe's former supporting cast member has switched sides.
Russel "Twistzz" van Dulken will be facing his former team for the first time since leaving the squad back in December. It's a matchup set to illicit some fond memories, but one where Twistzz is likely wanting to prove a point that his departure from one of the best teams in the world was not a mistake.
Liquid need to find their feet
It's no secret that Liquid have not looked like the team that was promised. Some highlights include Keith "NAF" Markovic continuing to be one of the most consistent performers in the world, but the rest of the team seems to still be figuring out how to work well together. It's not a disaster this early into the project, but it is something that fans need to be aware of. This team does not look ready to compete for championships just yet.

An inconsistent FaZe squad
The departure of Twistzz has been felt by the team, as FaZe has been struggling to replicate the form they showed since the release of CS2. The squad replaced Twistzz with David "frozen" Čerňanský who is yet to find the same impact as the Canadian did, but that's not all. FaZe's riflers have not been as consistent as they were at the end of 2023.
