mada departs Oceanus
Adam "mada" Pampuch took to Twitter on Thursday to make it known that he is in search of new opportunities for ESEA MDL Season 35.
The player subsequently noted that there was no ill will towards his former teammates and that "people received better offers", no doubt a reference to the news that broke yesterday that Erik "penny" Penny would be replacing Rahul "curry" Nemani on Triumph.
mada averaged a 1.07 rating in 14 maps in ESEA MDL Season 34 with Rugratz/Oceanus, while also helping the team to a 5-8th finish in Mythic Invite League Season 1 and a runner-up finish in Golden League Season 7.
Dust2.us has confirmed with Alexander "zander" Diaz that he and Joshua "Hunter" Madore intend to play this coming season, but that he is unsure whether they will be joined by Tyler "tweiss" Weiss or not, or who they would add to round out their team. Oceanus finished ESEA MDL Season 34 in 7-8th after playing the playoffs 4v5 following mada's family emergency.
With the departures, Oceanus are now:
Joshua "Hunter" Madore- Alexander "zander" Diaz
- Tyler "tweiss" Weiss
With the player break ending sooner rather than later, Oceanus will need to fill these holes prior to the start of ESEA MDL Season 35 on August 31st.
