Official: Liquid hire zews
Liquid have officially unveiled Wilton "zews" Prado as the new head coach for their Counter-Strike 2 roster. The coach replaces Damian "daps" Steele who presided over the squad for nearly a year and a half. zews returns to the Liquid organization having spent time as the head coach of the team from November 2016 through December 2018.
Liquid is no stranger to zews in the coaching position and had him at a time when they employed fellow Brazilians such as Epitacio "TACO" de Melo and Lucas "steel" Lopes on the roster before. zews eventually moved on to MIBR alongside TACO in a trade for Jake "Stewie2k" Yip. Before Liquid, zews won two Majors, MLG Columbus 2016 and ESL One Cologne 2016, in the coaching role with the famous SK/Luminosity lineup.
zews now brings another Brazilian into the roster as Felipe "skullz" Medeiros was just announced as their newest player. The Liquid organization is undergoing a massive rebuild and is expected to announce the remainder of the roster throughout this week if the pattern continues. The roster's highest profile additions are Casper "cadiaN" Møller and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken. Both players return to North America after finding even greater success in Europe.
