Report: food leaves Swole Patrol; set to join T1's VALORANT team
Dust2.us has learned from sources close to Victor "food" Wong that he has left Swole Patrol and will be making the move over to VALORANT to join T1 alongside former teammate Braxton "swag" Pierce.
The move comes two months after Swole Patrol were released by eUnited after more than a year with the North American organization. Since then, Swole Patrol have risen from 55th to 28th on HLTV's world rankings, however they have been unable to find a new organization to call home.
Team captain Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir took to Twitter earlier today to announce that Swole Patrol are on the search for a new fifth player.
food has been a consistent figure in the CS:GO scene since 2016, finding the most success in recent years while playing for Singularity, Swole Patrol, and eUnited.
T1's VALORANT roster should look as follows:
- Braxton "swag" Pierce
- Keven "AZK" Lariviere
- Austin "crashies" Roberts
- Victor "food" Wong
As for Swole Patrol, with the departure of food, their lineup now looks as follows:
- Austin "Cooper-" Abadir
- Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado
- Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir
- Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro
- Armeen "a2z" Toussi (Coach)
