Gen.G enter VALORANT with old District 7 core
More endemic members of the CS:GO scene have found an official home in VALORANT, as Gen.G announced earlier today that the FRENCH CANADIANS quintet will be their inaugural lineup.
That roster combines elements of the ESEA Season 33 District 7 lineup with the old pieces of the FRENCH CANADIANS lineup that was the namesake of the team prior to signing. This move pairs active CS:GO players like Anthony "gMd" Guimond, who posted a 1.06 rating in ESEA MDL Season 33, with older faces like Keven "PLAYER1" Champagne who hasn't been active in the competitive CS:GO scene since ESEA Season 30.
Gen.G's Canadian VALORANT roster are now:
- Keven "PLAYER1" Champagne
- Danny "huynh" Huynh
- Michael "MkaeL" De Luca
- Anthony "gMd" Guimond
- Loic "effys" Sauvageau
- Andrew "Blank" Leverette (Coach)
Andrew "Blank" Leverette was a H1Z1 pro and founding member of the H1Z1 Pro League as a part of Impact. He has been listed as a Performance Coach by the organization.
Gen.G won the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Invitational to pocket $20,000 in their debut event yesterday.
