FlyQuest Red to play in the Mustache Masters
The Mustache Masters is set for its fifth year as North America's premier Counter-Strike annual charity event for men's health and has now invited its second professional team to play in the event. FlyQuest Red, the best women's Counter-Strike team in North America, will be partaking in the event. This is the first time that the event has included a women's team as one of the invited professional teams.
The current ESL Impact North American champions will join the Evil Geniuses men's team as the two squads will look to take down any amateur challengers standing in their way of first place.
Mustache Masters Season 5 begins this Friday and will run through Sunday, where the pro teams will finally feature in a new bracket that allows amateur teams to spend more time competing against one another instead of being immediately eliminated in the first few rounds by much stronger opponents. The event will also be the first charity event to feature Counter-Strike 2, which will hopefully bring in further interest.
With all proceeds going towards the Movember Foundation, the Mustache Masters have raised over $20,000 each year for the past three years, speaking to both the success and charity of the North American Counter-Strike community. Last year's event saw ATK take down EG n' Friends which even featured Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham in a spectacular best-of-three series.
