SicK confirms move towards VALORANT
Hunter "SicK" Mims has announced that he intends to step back from CS:GO in order to pursue VALORANT.
The announcement follows a report from Dust2.us over the weekend stating that Chaos are set to bring on young guns Erick "Xeppaa" Bach and Nathan "leaf" Orf in place of SicK and Cameron "cam" Kern.
SicK emerged onto the scene in early 2015 with ignite/Mortality alongside the likes of Daniel "vice" Kim and Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker. That squad later became Denial, who famously did not get promoted to ESL Pro League following winning ESEA Premier Season 20.
He would go on to represent organizations such as TSM, Misfits, Rogue, and Complexity, participating in three Majors while doing so.
The 21-year-old joins an ever-growing list of CS:GO players set on trying their hands at high-level VALORANT, including Braxton "swag" Pierce, Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, Austin "crashies" Roberts, and Jake "kaboose" McDonald.
