Complexity reaches new ranking high
Just last week Complexity entered back into the HLTV Top 10 thanks to an impressive performance at IEM Sydney where they ultimately finished 2nd. Their run at the Australian event could have even been better had they been able to complete comeback against FaZe to win the tournament.
As a result of their achievement, the squad earned enough ranking points to jump up to 8th in the HLTV World Rankings, which tied their previous record of 8th in March 2023 for the North American squad. It was also one of the highest points since Complexity reached 5th in September 2020 while retaining Will "RUSH" Wierzba and Owen "oBo" Schlatter.
Now, Complexity have reached one place higher as Heroic have tumbled down the rankings due to their own roster instability. As the organization begins preparing for life without Casper "cadiaN" Møller as well as Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard and Martin "stavn" Lund, they've fallen out of the top ten allowing Complexity to reach their highest ranking with a North American roster: 7th.
It's a monumental achievement for the organization who moved away from their Juggernaut exploration and came back to North America. The roster has been allowed to fail without monumental changes to the lineup, which has benefitted the squad as they have become better players thanks to roster consistency and shared experience. Now, with Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli and Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski the squad has unlocked more than before.
Complexity are not slowing down anytime soon as they are currently competing at the online Thunderpick World Championships before participating at the BLAST Fall Finals in late November and then ESL Challenger Atlanta in mid-December.
