cadiaN to stand in for Heroic during BLAST Premier Fall Final
Casper "cadiaN" Møller will have a chance to say goodbye to Danish fans and Heroic during the BLAST Premier Fall Final, as the experienced AWPer IGL will play under the Heroic banner for one last time.
This news comes after a chaotic last few days for the Danish organization, which has benched two players, Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard, after both asked for the removal of cadiaN from the squad in exchange for contract extensions, which Heroic agreed to. Turns out, stavn and jabbi, had already started talking with Astralis, despite still having 10 months in their contracts. For that, the organization benched both riflers.
Meanwhile, Heroic had already signed Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen as cadiaN's substitute until the end of 2023 but would need to add two other players to have a full functioning roster. During Roobet Cup, Heroic fielded two MOUZ NXT players, William "sirah" Kjærsgaard and Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard.
For BLAST Premier Fall Final though, the Danes will have cadiaN lead the team one last time. cadiaN's last official match was on September 9th against Monte for ESL Pro League Season 18, and Heroic benched the 28-year-old on October 4th. Dust2.us has previously reported that cadiaN has verbally agreed to join Liquid.
BLAST Premier Fall Final starts on November 22nd and runs until November 26th, and will feature new squads or reportedly dead rosters, with Complexity being the only team with no rumors surrounding its players.
