cadiaN allegedly forced out by rifling duo
Amid reports that Casper "cadiaN" Møller is headed towards Liquid alongside Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and Felipe "skullz" Medeiros, new information has emerged about the circumstances that even made one of the world's best in-game leaders available.
In a public statement published this morning, Heroic claimed that Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard informed the organization they no longer wished to play with their AWPer and they "initiated a push to replace" him. Heroic ultimately had to choose between cadiaN and the rest of the team, with stavn and jabbi agreeing to renew their contracts if cadiaN was removed.
cadiaN's removal shocked the world and Liquid immediately started pursuing the superstar as they looked to bounce back after a failed four months with a new European-centric roster.
However, further information shows that despite Heroic having completed the requests from jabbi and stavn, the two players had already made future plans with Astralis and would not enter into contract renewals with the organization. stavn and jabbi have ten months remaining on their contracts. It is important to note that neither jabbi, stavn, cadiaN, or any other member of Heroic, or any member of Astralis has made a public statement on the matter.
Liquid, now with their focus on securing cadiaN, are excitedly assembling their team by bringing back their former star Twistzz and a Brazilian up-and-comer in skullz. With all three players having verbally agreed to join the organization, the last step is getting pen to paper and ensuring that Liquid have a brand new team as they begin their Counter-Strike 2 era.
