Complexity headlines Atlanta Challenger invites

North America is coming home for its second ESL LAN this year with ESL Challenger Atlanta beginning on December 15th. The event, held at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta, will feature eight teams in the normal ESL Challenger GSL to single-elimination playoff format.

This morning, ESL announced the first few teams invited, including Complexity as the "Local Hero Invite" and Monte, GamerLegion, and Virtus.pro thanks to their ESL World Ranking. There are four more qualifiers left with teams from Europe, North America, South America, and Asia vying for a spot at the Georgia event.

The last time Atlanta was host to a CS event was in 2019, where the now-defunct North American organizations Chaos and Triumph represented the region. Heroic, still being led by Casper "cadiaN" Møller, would go on to win the event without dropping a single map.
