Wildcard win Roobet Arena September

They take home a cool €1000 from the CS2 tourney.

Two days ago, ten teams duked it out in CS2 for their chance to take home part of the €2300 prize pool. Be Together Win and 1winjr were the unlucky two to be eliminated in Round 1, with 6 teams receiving byes to the quarterfinals. Reason started the quarterfinals with a close victory over OldANDReallyBAD while Pantsu held a solid lead over Take Flyte to meet one another in the semifinals.

Wildcard had a similarly close 13-9 victory over CCG Esports on the other side of the bracket, accompanied by FLUFFY AIMERS defeating ClayMakers in the most decisive match of the quarterfinals. Both Reason and Wildcard won their semifinal matchups 13-8 to secure a cash payout, while Pantsu and FLUFFY AIMERS were relegated to the third-place match for the €500 prize.

FLUFFY AIMERS and Pantsu went the distance in their best-of-three, rivaling some CS:GO matches in length. Unluckily for Pantsu, FA won Ancient, map one, and Inferno, map three, in overtime. In the upper finals, it wasn't nearly as close of a match. Wildcard put Reason to rout, winning 13-4 on map one and 13-8 on map two.

We can see the benefits of MR12 right here in this tournament, with eight best-of-ones and two best-of-threes easily fitting into a single day of matches.

The top four for Roobet Arena August are:

1. United States Wildcard - €1,000
2. United States Reason - €800
3. United States FLUFFY AIMERS - €500
4. United States Pantsu
