Recon 5 confirm addition of JazzPimp
Recon 5 have announced that they have added Dominic "JazzPimp" Dimpfel to their roster as a replacement for Alexander "retrQ" Kadan.
The former Thunder Logic player already took part in the qualifiers for ESL One Rio and FLASHPOINT with Recon 5, helping the team to achieve a closed qualifier berth in the latter event.
Notably, JazzPimp and the rest of Recon 5 faltered in their most recent Americas Minor open qualifier effort against Mythic after they were forced to forfeit the first map of the series due to playing in the third FLASHPOINT qualifier. The team will have one more chance to secure a berth to the closed stage of the Americas Minor qualifier this week, with the final open qualifier kicking off tomorrow.

Alongside the final ESL One Rio qualifier, JazzPimp and company are also slated to compete in the FLASHPOINT Closed Qualifier, set to run from February 14-16.
