EFG continues to grow its talent and operations portfolio with their latest hiring

ESL FACEIT Group grab top talent from BLAST

Estrup comes to EFG with six years of experience at BLAST.

Nicolas Estrup, a key figure at RFRSH/BLAST over the past six years, has resigned from the company to join ESL FACEIT Group as their Vice President of Product Development.

Estrup's departure from BLAST will likely came as a hit to the Danish company as Estrup noted he played a key role in developing BLAST as a product during his time in multiple roles, most recently as Chief Innovation Officer. During his tenure with BLAST, the company weathered the storm of transitioning from being a RFRSH-owned property to becoming its own dedicated tournament operator. Likewise, the company slowly grew its portfolio from the more simple BLAST Pro Series to the semi-franchised BLAST Premier circuit while the company also hosted the final CS:GO Major BLAST.tv Paris.

A number of NA figures congratulated Estrup on the move including Mike "DarfMike" Winnick and Jason "moses" O'Toole, with the latter describing Estrup's work as what made [BLAST] feel so special to be a part of the product in the early days."
