Team USA out of IESF World Esports Championship 2023 playoff contention
Although Team USA still has two games yet to be played, the playoffs are already out of the equation, as the team couldn't win a single game after three attempts.
Losses against North Macedonia, Czech Republic, and Serbia, all teams that have only won at the moment, means that the final two games for Team USA, against Indonesia and Algeria, are just to complete their schedule.

The game happened on Ancient and ended 16-11 to the defending champions, and Team USA netted their first loss.
The second game of the group stage was against the Czech Republic, a mix of players from various tier two European teams, such as SINNERS and Enterprise. This game was also played on Ancient but had a different result, as Team USA lost 16-3, going down to 0-2 in the group.
The third game, the one that put the team out of playoff contention, was played against Serbia, who have the former iNation squad. The game ended with a 16-7 scoreline and also ended the playoff dreams for the USA.
Team USA still has two more games to play, first against Indonesia and then against Algeria, with both happening today.
