Rugratz bring on Zellsis; zander out
With MDL Season 33 now set to start on January 30th, Rugratz have pounced on the opportunity to make further changes, swapping Alexander "zander" Diaz for Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro, according to the team's ESEA page.
The change comes after zander helped bring the squad a fourth place finish in the division last season, securing a spot at the MDL Global Challenge in the process. Joshua "Hunter" Madore and Erik "penny" Penny are now the only remaining members from that campaign.
This is not the first attempt to bring Zellsis into the Rugratz fold, as the player nearly joined the team after one of the removals of Tyler "tweiss" Weiss.
Rugratz now have the following roster:
- Joshua "Hunter" Madore
- Erik "penny" Penny
- Nathan "leaf" Orf
- Marian "tyfoon" Lesnic
- Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro
- Nathan "madcow" Retterath (Coach)
The overhauled team now await the start of MDL Season 33 in a few days, as well as the start of the arduous qualification process for ESL One Rio.
