EG Gold complete roster with three additions
Evil Geniuses have added three new elements to their roster to bring it back up to full strength after cutting two players and a coach at the start of July. The new additions are former CLG Red player Juliana "Juli" Tosic, former Shimmer member Vanessa "vanessa" Gideon, and Joseph "Muenster" Lima, who will be taking over as the team's head coach after assisting EG's entire CS:GO division as a strategic coach.
With these changes, EG Gold will look to chart a new path after an underwhelming period in the North American ESL Impact scene. While the team has flirted with brief success, they have struggled to find results internationally or battle FlyQuest RED or Shimmer for the top spots in North America.
To that end, EG Gold will look to utilize Juli's experience from her time with CLG Red from 2020 to 2022 during the online era while also betting on vanessa as one of a few NA Impact players with LAN experience. Additionally, while Muenster has been assisting this team for some time having him in a more direct role will hopefully help impart some of his experience onto the lineup.
