Party Astronauts announce new fifth
After long-term Party Astronauts member Wesley "viz" Harris departed from the team late last month, the team announced yesterday the addition of their new fifth on the roster. Having played on Limitless since October, Adam "Grizz" Golden joins Party Astronauts just two weeks before the scheduled start of ESL Challenger League Season 46.
The team had hoped to debut with Grizz earlier, having qualified to the ESEA Pre-Season Circuit, however, were unable to participant due to stringent rules mandating that substitutes be registered during the open qualifiers. Instead the team would have had to play with former stand-in Silas "silas" Marrufo, which they opted not to do.
Citing burnout and motivation issues, viz departed the team with an average 0.95 rating in the last three months, having been on a steady decline since January when he was posting 1.18 ratings. Grizz, coming in with an 1.03 rating in the last three months, will hope to boost the team's form in the upcoming ECL season.
Party Astronauts are now:
-
Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue
-
Ben "ben1337" Smith
-
Connor "chop" Sullivan
-
William "spek" Smith
-
Adam "Grizz" Golden
-
Nathan "madcow" Retterath (Coach)
-
Luke "Viathan" Carstens (Assistant Coach)
Apart from the upcoming ECL season, the team currently doesn't have any other announced events they are participating in.
