Wildcard find their new fifth

d4rty looks to be the final piece of Wildcard's adjusted roster.

Wildcard have announced their new fifth following the departure of Jack "micro" Ryan on May 25th, seeing Matthew "d4rty" Paplawskas link up with the team while leaving Strife in the process. The move sees Wildcard lock down their fifth after a brief trial period for the 18-year-old rifler.

The addition of d4rty will likely end a formative period for Wildcard's CS:GO division after entering the game in late April. During this time, the squad has enjoyed modest success, regularly finishing in the top eight among their semi-professional peers in the NA scene.

The young d4rty has spent the majority of his career on Strife, and has been considered a potential player to keep an eye on for some time. He currently boasts a competent 1.06 rating over 74 maps in 2023.

While his addition to the team has finalized Wildcard's roster, it reflexively has created more trouble for Strife, as IGL Bobby "stamina" Eitrem also recently left the roster. Additionally, the remainder of the team is seemingly in a waning period of motivation and cohesion as NA longs for the release of CS2.

Wildcard's roster is now:

  • United States Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore

  • Canada Adam "freshie" Paterson

  • United States Brett "brett" Rhein

  • United States Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan

  • United States Matthew "d4rty" Paplawskas

  • Brazil João "horvy" Horvath (Coach)

Wildcard are currently facing ATK in the ESEA Cash Cup Circuit Finals.
