Singularity replace Complexity in second stage of EPL Season 10
It has been announced that Singularity will replace Complexity in the second stage of EPL Season 10 Americas, which will commence this Thursday.
Singularity's journey in the event initially came to an end after going 0-3 in the first stage, though the team did manage to take maps off of Liquid and ATK. However, they have now been granted a second life due to Complexity's recent signings of European imports Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke and Valentin "poizon" Vasilev. Since both players have already participated in the league with other team's, they are inelligible to play for Complexity, so the team opted to pull out of the event.
The tournament organizer mentioned that Cloud9 were offered to replace Complexity, but declined, adding more fuel to the rumors of changes coming to the organanization's CS:GO team.
The groups for ESL Pro League Season 10 Americas now look as such:
Group A | Group B |
ATK | eUnited |
DETONA | FURIA |
Envy | Isurus |
Singularity | 100 Thieves |
Despite Singularity most recently playing with Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro, the player is not eligible to participate in the league with the team due him having previously competed under Swole Patrol. The team have not announced who they will field as their fifth player.
