m1cks parts ways with eUnited
eUnited analyst Joshua "m1cks" Micks has announced his departure from the organization after roughly five months with the team.
In his announcement tweet, m1cks mentioned that the decision to part ways with eUnited came down to a difference to approach to the game and a poor fit "with the team in general". During his tenure with eUnited, the team struggled to break out internationally, bombing out the StarLadder Berlin Americas Minor 0-2, and failing a single a single map at ESL One New York, though this right after the addition of Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir as a replacement for long-time member Kaleb "moose" Jayne.
With freakazoid, eUnited have recently had an uptick in performance, notably besting Cloud9 2-1 during their group at ESL Pro League Season 10.
Without m1cks, the current eUnited roster is as follows:
- Austin "Cooper-" Abadir
- Edgar "MarKE" Jimenez
- Victor "food" Wong
- Anthony "vanity" Malaspina
- Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir
- Armeen "a2z" Toussi (Coach)
m1cks' departure from eUnited comes as numerous organizations are looking to re-enter or debut in CS:GO, with Dignitas, Misfits, and Chaos reportedly being interested in forming North American squads.
