LIQUID ANNIHILATE NAVI
After a reverse sweep in the Challengers Stage swiss system, Liquid are now 2-0 in the Legends Stage! A dominant display versus Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev & co. on Natus Vincere.
Only s1mple was able to put up double digits in terms of kills on the first half of the Inferno BO1 versus Liquid. The Easter European star on Liquid, Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis, was by far having a belter of a game, with 23 kills at the 14-1 half-time scoreline.
With their T-side to go, Liquid did slow down their plowing of NAVI a little after dropping the pistol round. However, the second round came down to the wire with Joshua "oSee" Ohm down to a 1v1 with Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy, almost winning the duel.
After allowing NAVI to total up to 4 rounds in the map, Liquid won a retake on the B-site with a millisecond bomb defusal and were then up 15-4. Dropping just four further rounds, Liquid finally found a final round by attrition, finishing the map 16-8. The Latvian star finished the match with a 124.1 ADR and a 2.00 rating — his best game so far at the BLAST.tv Paris Major!

Defeating 9INE (who where clear 3-0 pick'em favourites at 44%) earlier in the day on Overpass, the American heroes are now 2-0 in the Legends Stage and set to play for qualification to the Champions Stage in a BO3 tomorrow.
