BLAST.tv Americas RMR Day 3 Live Blog
The third day of the BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR is starting. Today four teams say goodbye to the last CS:GO major ever, and two will book their tickets to Paris. To start the day, Complexity will face Imperial and EG will battle against Paquetá, both BO3 series, where the loser goes home and the winner lives to fight another day. Later today Liquid and FURIA will fight for the first Americas spot in the BLAST.tv Paris Major, alongside paiN and Fluxo.
Matches start one hour earlier today, due to the higher number of maps being played, as every series will feature at least two maps, so make sure you check this page throughout the day to keep up to date with NA scores.
01:20AM - FURIA clinch confident 2-1 victory over Liquid
After two back-and-forth maps, FURIA finished off the series against Liquid with an absolutely dominant showing on Mirage. The Brazilians managed to clinch the map 16-4 to set up a confrontation with paiN tomorrow for the Americas' only Legends spot.

The action is heating up in the final match of the day as FURIA have taken Inferno 16-13. The action now moves onto Mirage as NA's top squads fight to see who will square off against paiN for the Americas' only Legends spot.

11:10PM - Liquid take Nuke in OT v FURIA
Liquid are one map away from confirming their spot at the Paris Major after taking Nuke over FURIA 19-16.
10:50PM - paiN smash Fluxo 16-1, one map away from Major
paiN have picked up a statement win against Fluxo in the opening map of their series on Mirage. The Brazilian upcomers are now one map away from booking a spot the Blast.tv Paris Major.
10:05PM - Nouns beats Flamengo with ease in Mirage decider to continue RMR hopes
After an exchange of wins in each others map picks, Nouns and Flamengo took to Mirage to settle the BO3. Nouns beat up on their opposition in the decider to send Flamengo packing.

06:10PM - EG bring it back, BESTIA keep pace with MIBR
On the decider map Overpass, EG fell to a 5-10 deficit at the half, only exacerbated after losing the pistol round. However, EG then began the comeback, including this lovely 4v4 retake on the A bombsite.
At the same time, BESTIA go round for round with MIBR on Anubis.
05:00PM - Complexity stay alive, Evil Geniuses struggle
Complexity have locked in their spot in the 2-1 pool after cleaning up against Imperial on CT-side Nuke. Although Imperial started the second half strong, the North Americans rebounded to take the map 16-12, eliminating the Brazilian side from Paris contention. Evil Geniuses on the other hand found themselves struggling despite a decent start to their second half, ultimately allowing Paquetá to claim Mirage 16-14 to bring the series to a third map.

04:30PM - Close halves for Complexity and Evil Geniuses
Complexity looked ferocious with an early 8-3 lead on their pick of Nuke on the T-side, but Imperial have rebounded to bring the deficit down to only three rounds, with Complexity heading into the defense with a 9-6 scoreline. In the other 1-1 match, Evil Geniuses find themselves on the back foot with a 7-8 scoreline as they make their way to the T-side on Mirage.
03:34PM - Complexity and EG lock down first maps
Complexity and Evil Geniuses have both made headway in their respective matches versus Imperial and Paquetá, as both squads lay claim to the first map in each series. Complexity stole away Imperial's pick of Overpass after recovering from an 11-5 deficit thanks to an immaculate T-side, allowing them to close out the map 16-13. Evil Geniuses on the other hand were far more comfortable in their map victory, besting Paquetá 16-8 on their pick of Inferno to take an early lead in the series.
02:00PM - We are underway! Or not...
The American teams are getting their elimination BO3s started, with both surely heading to the distance considering the quality of skills of both teams. Imperial lead Complexity 10-5 at the half on their map pick of Overpass as EG leads vs Paquetá.
After technical delays for both streams, the two matches are back underway. EG also took a 10-5 lead over Paquetá at the half.
