We start with the 1-0 matches and go onto the 0-1 elimination matches later in the day.

The second day of the BLAST.tv Americas RMR has begun! In the beginning of the day, we will have the 1-0 BO1 matches, which include games such as Complexity vs paiN, Liquid vs Flamengo, and FURIA vs Evil Geniuses. After the first day, the big three NA teams all sit in the 1-0 stage, but unfortunately, Nouns and yur fell to the 0-1 pool and will face each other in their 0-1 elimination BO3.

With matches scheduled to play until midnight local time, we will continue updating you with news, highlights, interviews, and more as the day progresses and teams play through the Swiss bracket.

11:20PM - yur even up series against Nouns

In a shocking comeback, yur have managed to even up the series against Nouns with a hard-fought 16-14 win on Mirage. Be sure to stay tuned to the action as one of these teams will be sent as the series moves to Overpass:

08:30PM - 00NATION say goodbye after loss to MIBR

MIBR took it to 00NATION in the elimination BO3, only allowing 16 rounds over two maps to send their regional foes packing. Felipe "insani" Yuji had a hay day against his Brazilian counterparts, closing the 2-0 with over twice as many frags as deaths.

The first elimination from the BLAST.tv Americas RMR has finally come about, with Imperial sending LOS + oNe packing after an utter thrashing. The brief two-map series ended with a 16-0 win on their pick of Overpass, securing them a place in the 1-1 pool.

06:45PM - Imperial lock down first map

Imperial has mopped up the first map in their series versus LOS + oNe, quickly converting a 12-3 half into a 16-3 win to steal away their opponent's pick. In the meantime, 00NATION continues to fight valiantly versus MIBR, with Leonardo "n9xtz" Santos pulling out a 1v3 clutch to help his squad poise for a comeback.

06:31PM - Imperial and MIBR take early leads

As the elimination phase of the Americas RMR heads into full swing with two Brazilian brawls, Imperial and MIBR have managed to procure solid starts in their games versus LOS + oNe and 00NATION, respectively. Imperial currently have a dominant 12-3 lead on their opponent's pick of Mirage, while MIBR charges ahead on their own map pick of Anubis 6-1.

05:33PM - BO1s over, onto the BO3's

With those matches wrapped up the RMR now moves onto the BO3's, with the rest of today's matchups all elimination games. To kick off the 0-1 pool we have los + oNe vs Imperial and MIBR vs 00 Nation. Brazilian icons Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Marcelo "coldzera" David are both at risk of missing the last CS:GO Major.

05:33PM - Fluxo scrape past BESTIA

A 1.65 rating from newest member Allan "history" Lawrenz was just about enough for the Brazilian side to outlast their Argentinian opposition, 16-14.

paiN continued their recent run of results against North American opposition as they send Complexity down to the 1-1 pool after a 16-10 win on Nuke. Key to their victory was Complexity's failure to win against force buys dropping three such rounds against paiN.

04:56PM - Brazilians lead at half time

Both the Brazilian teams lead as the second set of matches reaches the halfway mark. Fluxo finds themselves 9-6 up against BESTIA while paiN continues their strong form against American opposition as they lead Complexity 8-7 after a strong T side showing on Nuke.

04:24PM - Complexity get ready to rumble

Complexity is getting ready for their 1-0 match against paiN on Nuke. The Brazilian side has already taken down Liquid twice in recent weeks, you can watch Complexity try and avoid that same fate here.

04:08PM - EG fall just short

FURIA survive a big upset scare as they manage to squeak out a victory over Evil Geniuses 16-13. Despite the loss, EG can take heart from their performance in the game as they move on to their next match in the 1-1 pool. FURIA have Yuri "yuurih" Santos to thank for keeping them in the game as he posted a huge 1.48 rating to help drag them over the line.

After a slight delay to the start of their match, NA's best team showed fine form to lock out the Brazilian underdogs with a no-nonsense 16-6 win. The win advances Liquid into the 2-0 pool with their sights set on an all-important Legends spot.

03:40PM - FURIA fightback to lead at halftime

Evil Geniuses raced into a 6-1 lead on the T side of Mirage, however, FURIA managed to get themselves back into the match stringing together seven of the next eight rounds to take an 8-7 lead at halftime.

03:10PM - Opening Matches kick-off

Day two starts with two BO1s in the 1-0 pool, with FURIA vs Evil Geniuses and Liquid vs Flamengo. EG will have to beat Brazil's best team on Mirage on the GL stream, whilst Liquid will be looking to avoid an upset also on Mirage on the HF stream.

02:50PM - First teams head to the playing booths

The first matches of the day, FURIA vs Evil Geniuses and Liquid vs Flamengo, are scheduled to begin at the top of the hour. The players are setting up their gear as the vetoes come in and they prepare for their BO1s.
