Top 5 NA highlights from Day #1 at Americas RMR
On a first day full of delays, communication problems, technical issues, and power outages, three out of the five North American rosters were able to win their matches, and out of the four BR teams based on NA, only two started with wins.
Fortunately for North American fans, all of the region's teams showed positive signs, with some getting on the highlight reel, despite having lost the game.
#5 Bwills 1v2 T-side clutch
The top five opens with Brendan "Bwills" Williams from Nouns clutching a 1v2 situation against BESTIA where he had to plant the bomb after getting one kill, after already getting two kills, making it a 4K in the end.
#4 autimatic 4K against Imperial
Placing fourth is Timothy "autimatic" Ta with a 4K on the B-site of Inferno, luring Imperial into the wrong site and getting the most out of it, individually and collectively.
#3 NAF cold-blooded 1v2 defuse clutch
With the bronze medal for the day one highlights from the Americas RMR is Keith "NAF" Markovic after securing Liquid's 13th round on Mirage, despite a very close call against pistols, whereas Liquid were on the bonus round.
#2 Complexity 3v5 team play
Number two is Complexity's trio of Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli, Justin "FaNg" Coakley, and Ricky "floppy" Kemery who turned a 3v5 situation during the T-side pistol round on Inferno into a winnable round and were able to see it through to the end.
#1 HexT 1v2 defuse clutch against Imperial
Taking the number one spot in this list is Jadan 'HexT' Postma with a clean 1v2 post-plant clutch on the CT-side against Imperial, to extend the lead and keep the Brazilians at bay, crucially hitting their economy and getting his team back on track.
