Sharks and ATK secure highest seeds in ECS Season 8 Pinnacle Cup
The second and third rounds of the ECS Season 8 Pinnacle Cup have come to an end, seeing Sharks and ATK breeze through the competition.
Riot Squad met The Quest in the second round and managed to beat the latter 2-0, with The Quest only winning fifteen rounds in the two maps that were played. Sharks continued with their dominant performance and destroyed Divine 2-0, with Luken having an astonishing 1.62 HLTV rating. The match between ATK and oNe was the only one of the 1-0 pool that went to a third map, while Rap Gang came out on top in their match against Bushido Boyz.

effys and the rest of LiViD were better than RBG, having no problems against the majority-Canadian and taking a 2-0 victory. New Identity, playing with Maxim "wippie" Shepelev in place of Collin "wrath" McSweegan, lost Overpass to Mythic, but were then able to reverse-sweep the stream team and move into the 1-1 pool.

In the third round, Sharks played Rap Gang for one of the two high seeds, where the Brazilian squad obliterated Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak and co. to finish the Pinnacle Cup with a 3-0 result. ATK versus Riot Squad was another one-sided match in the 2-0 pool, as despite Jonathan "Jonji" Carey's best efforts, his team fell to the South African/American side.
The remaining matches were all rather straight-forward 2-0 affairs, though it should be noted that Big Frames were playing with former Party Astronaut Abdo "c4lypso" Agha.
