fl0m knew about it the whole time
While the rest of the world was left in the dark about what was actually going on with Counter-Strike 2 or Source 2, it turns out that someone in our very own community actually knew the details of it.
In a sarcastically non-apology, Erik "fl0m" Flom let the world know that he actually was under an NDA with Valve to not release any information about the upcoming release.
"I am now allowed to talk about Counter-Strike 2 and Source 2. I was under NDA this whole time, and I hated it and it was the worst feeling of my entire life. I feel like an entire weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I am sorry that couldn't tell people."
The content creator and others were likely part of a select group of people allowed to work with Valve on the update. We are likely to hear more stories about community members being involved as the NDAs appear to no longer be relevant.
