00 Nation outrun the hounds
After their miraculous comeback against Rooster that kept them alive, 00 Nation made another comeback on Inferno against Australian opposition in their match against Grayhound. 00 Nation's disappointing run at Pro League had kicked off with a 2-1 loss to Grayhound and the Brazilian side were looking for revenge to avoid going home with just an unconvincing win over the lowly Rooster on their record.
Map one would be Inferno, picked by Grayhound, the map that 00 Nation had made a miraculous comeback on against Rooster yesterday. The Brazilians took a 5-1 lead but the Aussies fought back to get themselves back into the contest despite Lucas "nqz" Soares being 11-1 in the first six rounds.
After an 8-7 half in favor of Grayhound, 00 Nation would once again take the pistol round to take the lead in the match but failed to convert that momentum on the gun rounds as the Australian side went 15-12 up. With Grayhound on the verge of victory, it would be 00 Nation's old man Marcelo "coldzera" David who stepped up for the team bringing them all the way back to overtime with a rock solid defense. Grayhound ran out of steam in Overtime as coldzera dropped 27 frags to help 00 Nation to a 19-16 win.
Next map would be Ancient, a map the Aussies beat the Brazilians on last time out but had been smacked by NIP 16-2 just after. Joshua "INS" Potter had spearheaded his side's efforts on Inferno and once again would prove his fragging power on Ancient as he dropped a 1.65 rating across the map. Ancient started out evenly much like Inferno with the scores 8-7 at the half, however, this time it Grayhound ran rampant on their T side completely running away with the map losing just three rounds on their way to a 16-10 victory.
Mirage is a map synonymous with Brazilian CS so much so coldzera even has a graffiti on the map for his legendary AWP play against Liquid. Mirage would once again demonstrate the benefits of coldzera's experience, as he put up a 96 ADR half on 00 Nation's CT side to help the team keep the Aussies at bay.
It would be the reverse of Ancient though as it was the Brazilian's turn to run away on the T side as they took a massive 14-7 lead before Grayhound even had a chance to reply. The Brazilian side closed it out comfortably 16-9, with coldzera and their 19 year old star Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer topping the charts, the win means they will face NIP for the last playoff spot.
