Case sign 15-year-old up-and-comer
Case have announced the signing of Joao "Snowzin" Vinicius. At just fifteen years old, Snowzin has been touted as a future Brazilian pro but has yet to impress on a large stage. Joining Case marks a large step for the youngster, as he will now play at his highest level yet. He leaves the orgless team Carecas behind him to reach greener pastures.
Despite his young age, this is actually not Snowzin's first professional outing. At just 13 years old, he joined BOOM back in 2020 as a sixth man, though he was never fully integrated into the lineup as a full-time player.
Despite harboring a few notable players such as Lucas "steel" Lopes and Lucas "honda" Cano, Case have failed to make a name for themselves beyond the Brazilian scene. The squad most notably fell short in the recent South American Open Qualifiers, with the team unable to secure deep runs in either of the two open qualifiers. Perhaps, with this injection of young firepower, the struggling Brazilian team can hope to compete with other regional powerhouses.
With this move, Case are now:
-
Yan "yeps" Pedretti
-
Lucas "steel" Lopes
-
Lucas "honda" Cano
-
Rodrigo "RCF" Figueiredo
-
Joao "Snowzin" Vinicius
-
Leonardo "leo_drk" Oliveira (Benched)
We will see Snowzin on the server at ESL Masters España Season 13 beginning on March 27th.
