Kansas City Pioneers unable to ford contractual waters; release team
Less than a month after joining Kansas City Pioneers, Alexander "zander" Zander has announced on Twitter that his squad have parted ways with the organization.
Dust2.us has learned from sources within the organization that the two parties were unable to come to an agreement due to being unable to secure the release of one player, and another player's parents not giving consent to sign the the contract. The players in question are likely David "Sneaky" Polster as he was recently contracted to Ascent, while Erik "bul" Penny is the sole underage player.
This move comes as a heavy blow for Rugratz as after a pre-season filled with roster uncertainty, the team looked to be stabilizing under Kansas City Pioneers, with the team recently qualifying of the ECS Season 8 Pinnacle Cup, along with having a decent showing in MSI MGA 2019 Closed Qualifier.
It is not all bad for Rugratz though, as they have finally finalized their roster for Season 32 as they have re-enlisted the services of Tyler "tweiss" Weiss. tweiss is no stranger to Rugratz as the player joined and left the squad multiple times in the off-season.
Without their organization, Rugratz is now:
- Joshua "Hunter" Madore
- Alex "zander" Diaz
- Erik "bul" Penny
- David "Sneaky" Polster
- Tyler "tweiss" Weiss
- Sean "ashen" Yang (Coach)
