00 Nation IGL to miss Pro League

ESL Pro League will feature another substitute player as Epitácio "TACO" de Melo will be absent for ESL Pro League S17 due to personal reasons. The captain and IGL of the squad is not traveling to Malta, according to Dust2 Brasil.

When contacted by Dust2 Brasil, 00 Nation stated that they will clarify the matter soon, but the expectation is that TACO will only miss ESL Pro League S17 and no other tournaments.

In his place, Leonardo "n9xtz" Santos will step up to the plate. The 19-year-old player had been a part of Young Gods, the Godsent development squad, however, he has not appeared on another team since. The player's last notable match was at the end of 2022 in the CBCS Elite League, which leaves a big question mark over how the player will perform at EPL.

00 Nation has several other options should n9xtz not be available for whatever reason as they have registered Fernando "fer" Alvarenga and the Portuguese Ricardo "fox" Pacheco as substitutes for the team. It is incredibly unlikely that either of those aforementioned players will feature.

The Brazilian organization has some time before they need to finalize who is boarding the flights to Europe as 00 Nation are in Group C and will play their first match against OG on March 8, 01:30PM.
