Main AWP add saiyo and clone, Fiziq and jack out
Main AWP/Mode Media House/imperial have parted ways with Lucas "Fiziq" Blow and their coach Jack "Jack" Hughett. The changes come on the heels of Damian "droid" Boulware's departure to [ex-]heX.
Stepping back into the lineup is Paul "saiyo" Saiyo who was a part of the team for their Season 29 campaign which saw them win ESEA Main. More recently, he spent Season 31 in the Intermediate division, earning a top 8 finish and promotion to Main with his team, stop.
Joining alongside saiyo is Rafael "clone" Singer who helped iNTACT achieve a strong 10-6 record in Season 31 of Advanced. He has been a free agent since iNTACT disbanded following their first round loss to Front in the playoffs.
Main AWP appear to be parting with the duo on good terms, with jack playing with them for Fragadelphia 13 Online, where they finished 5-6th after a 2-0 loss to Bushido Boyz. Dust2.us knows that Fiziq will potentially play with the team for ESEA Proving Grounds as well, where they will face Stay Frosty in the first round.
Main AWP's new lineup looks like this:
- Alex "vek" Voynov
- Alex "Obs1dian" Conrad
- Stephen "Huston" Huston
- Paul "saiyo" Saiyo
- Rafael "clone" Singer
Main AWP recently played in the first ECS Open Qualifier, making it to the round of 8 before falling 2-0 to The Quest. Fiziq is currently a free agent, however, he too was seen playing the first ECS Season 8 qualifier with Ascent, where the heavily modified MDL squad also lost to The Quest 16-7 in the round of sixteen.
